Utah State has received a commitment from Jalen Moore, a rising junior out of Sky View High School.

Moore, who has two years of high school remaining, is a 6-foot-7 shooting guard. He is the son of former Aggie great Jimmy Moore.

Jalen Moore received his offer and accepted earlier in the week. He experienced a significant growth spurt since the ending of the high school season, and he played extremely well in front of the Utah State coaching staff during the USU team camp a few weeks ago.

That, combined with his upside, was enough for the Aggies to pull the trigger with the offer. Moore will join what has been an impressive haul of recruits by Stew Morrill over the past few years.

Marcel Davis, Quincy Bair and Casey Oliverson, three of the best players in Utah's class of 2012 are already in the fold. Moore, Oliverson's high school teammate, will have a chance to lead Sky View next season, after playing sparingly as a sophomore.
