Utah State will host combination guard Matt Glover this weekend, a 6-foot-4 shooter and ballhandler from Sheridan College in Wyoming.

Glover is valuable because as a junior college player, he has three years of eligibility remaining. The coaching staff is high on him, and he can contribute in a number of ways.

The rising sophomore holds an offer from the Aggies. He averaged 11 points, 5.8 rebounds and over three assists per game this past season.

His recruitment indicates that USU's situation in the backcourt for next season is still extremely fluid, meaning that this could be an interesting couple of weeks for Aggie fans in terms of roster attrition. Utah State appears to be stocked in the backcourt, but the bottom line is that this team didn't shoot nearly good enough from the perimeter, a characteristic very unlike Stew Morrill teams.

Glover is seen as a player who can alleviate some of that pressure to shoot the ball, as well as Preston Medlin, a rising sophomore shooter who is seen as a vital cog in next year's USU team.
