As a team, Utah State's more dangerous because of Brockeith Pane.

Not his ability to penetrate. We've all known and seen that

But his maturity. Pane has brought into the Utah State system, made mistakes on the court, learned from them and has figred out a way to become more cerebral within the offense while still finding the room to create.

Against St. Mary's and New Mexico State Pane took over with his scoring. Against Louisiana Tech, Pane took over with his passing.

He's shown a will to win and a strong desire of getting better, and that's in turn made the Aggies better.

"It helps that I've had six seniors to play with," Pane said. "I've been blessed to play with those guys."

The WAC was right in making Pane a first team all-conference performer. He's been the best point guard in the league over the second half. He's the best penetrator in the league and his finishes at the rim when he gets into the lane.
