There was the wagging of the toungue. The waving of the hands. The constant trash talk.
Jeff Ledbetter did it all down the stretch when it was apparent that Idaho would pull the upset over Utah State three weeks ago. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that the Utah State players took full notice of Ledbetter's act.
"We definitely noticed it," USU forward Tai Wesley said. "He does all of that stuff to get him going and that's fine. But they stormed the court on us. We want to make them watch us cut down the nets."
For the Utah State players, it wasn't so much that the Vandal students stormed the court. That's to be expected in a win over USU of that magnitude. What the Aggie players didn't like was the seeming lack of respect the Idaho players had for them. And the motivation of not forgetting that seems to be driving them as they prepare for their rematch against the Vandals.
"We didn't like it at all," Senior forward Pooh Williams said. "Of course they were going to be excited. There was a lot of emotion out there.....let's just say they have to come back to the Spectrum."
