The worst thing happened to Utah State on Wednesday night.

No, not the Aggies win over Montana-Western.

It was St. Mary's losing to San Diego. That would be previously 5-21 San Diego. That would be the San Diego that entered the game with all of three Division I wins.

All of a sudden, the game against the Gaels means much much more to St. Mary's than it did previously. And you best believe that Utah State will see a caged Tiger in the Gaels.

This is a huge matchup for the Aggies in every way possible. The USU seniors know that a good seed in the NCAA tournament is within reach with a win over St. Mary's. And now, the Gaels are looking at sweating out selection Sunday with a bad loss on their resume.

This is going to get interesting.
