The outstanding family drama Parenthood (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) begins its sixth and final season, building toward what we're promised will be a big, emotional ending.

And this has been a very emotional show through the first 90 episodes.

In tonight's season premiere, Amber gets a surprise; Sarah and Zeek go to Las Vegas; and Adam and Kristina struggle to get their charter school open.
