Thursday on TV: Can Team USA beat Germany at the World Cup? Who will the Jazz pick in NBA draft?

In case you haven't heard, there's a big soccer game today. It's Team USA vs. Team Germany (10 a.m., ESPN) in the World Cup.

This match, along with Ghana vs. Portugal (10 a.m., ESPN2), will determine whether the Americans make it out of the group stage an into the knockout round. The easiest way for the USMNT to advance is to win or tie against Germany.

It gets somewhat complicated after that. But, basically, Americans have to root for Portugal to beat Ghana by a goal, maybe two. That combined with an American loss by a goal, maybe two, will get Team USA through.

Other World Cup action today features South Korea vs. Belgium (2 p.m., ESPN) and

Algeria vs. Russia (2 p.m., ESPN2)

Later today, we'll finally find out what the Utah Jazz are going to do with that No. 5 pick at the NBA draft (5 p.m., ESPN).
