Thursday on TV: Canadian import 'Rookie Blue' returns on ABC

It's Canada Day on ABC - the north-of-the-border police show Rookie Blue (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) returns for its fifth season.

Which raises the question - if the show has already aired 52 episodes, can these folks really be rookies anymore?

At any rate, Andy and Dov get caught in a holdup; Oliver gets promoted.
