Ogden will be on C-SPAN on Monday as the cable channel looks at the city's history and literary life.

Mayor Mike Caldwell will welcome C-SPAN to Ogden on Monday, April 7, at 2 p.m. at Union Station as they kick off a visit to record and feature the city's history and literary life.
"C-SPAN representatives will reveal the stories and segments that will be explored by the national network during their week-long stay."
Those representatives "will also conduct community and educational outreach" and record segments that "will air on non-fiction book channel Book TV (on C-SPAN2) and history channel American History TV (on C-SPAN3) during C-SPAN's special Ogden weekend May 3-4."
Ogden will be joined by a Salt Lake City, which will be the subject of a similar C-SPAN event later this spring.
