(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Utah Utes center Dallin Bachynski (31) and the team celebrate Utah Utes forward Renan Lenz (10) play. University of Utah defeated Arizona State 86-63 Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Tuesday on TV: Utes and Gaels' NIT showdown is on ESPN2

The University of Utah men's basketball team returns to the postseason for the first time since 2009. Sure, it's the NIT and not the NCAA tournament, but it's better than the last four year of sub-.500 play and an early end to the season.

The Utes (21-11) take on St. Mary's (22-11) at 9 p.m. on ESPN2.
