Wednesday on TV: ‘Survivor’ contestants continue to amaze with dumb moves
Sometimes I wonder if contestants on Survivor (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) have ever actually watched the show.
Already this season, we've seen members of the Brains tribe vote out their biggest, strongest members, forgetting that you have to win challenges or you're going to be in trouble. Forgetting that it's a team game in the early going, and you can't look too far ahead.
We've seen the Beauty tribe vote out the African-American gay guy, oblivious to (a) the fact that he could help them in challenges, and (b) voting him out first made the rest of the tribe look like racists/homophobes.
And in tonight's episode, members of the Brawn tribe are considering throwing a challenge so they can get rid of one of their own members. That's been done in past seasons, and it has invariably come back to bite the tribe that carried out such a plan.
