Tuesday on TV: Bill Paxton joins improving ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

We’re assured by the producers writers and cast that we’re just getting to the good parts of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4). The jury remains out on that one, although the most recent original episode — which aired way back on Feb. 14 — was, arguably, the best we’ve seen from this series.

It wasn’t great, but it was good.
