Just like every other bit of primetime Olympic coverage during the Sochi Games, NBC's telecast of the Opening Ceremonies is tape-delayed. Which it has to be, given that there's and nine- to 12-hour time difference between the site of the Games and the continental United States.
However, while NBC will live stream all the athletic events from Sochi on NBCOlympics.com, there will be no live streaming of the Opening Ceremonies. If you want to see it, you've got to watch (or record) the NBC coverage.
NBC LATE NIGHT
