This weekend on TV: CBS looks back at the Beatles

On the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's first appearance on "The Ed Sullian Show," CBS airs The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles (Sunday, 7 p.m., Ch. 2).

And it is the exact 50th anniversary - day, date, time, network.

The 2½-hour special also includes David Letterman interviewing Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr on the stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater where they performed half a century ago. And the two surviving Beatles also perform, and contemporary artists sing the Beatles' greatest hits.

Very cool.
