Auditions continue on American Idol (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13). And it's worth repeating - I actually really enjoyed the two-hour season premiere. And I haven't enjoyed watching this show in years. Many years.
Harry Connick Jr. is fantastic as the newest "Idol" judge. He's not just funny and charming, but he really knows what he's talking about. And the chemistry among Connick, Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban is really good.
By the way, Connick stayed in the hotel room next to mine the other night. And I fell asleep with the TV on and the volume turned up too much. Hope it didn't bother you, Harry,
