Wednesday on TV: Utah featured on 'Criminal Minds,' 'Hero Dog Awards,' 'Survivor' and the NBA

This week's episode of Criminal Minds (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) brings the team to Utah.

Well, not really. But the storyline revolves around a series of ritualistic murders here in Utah.

The episode wasn't available for preview, but according to CBS, clues lead the team "to believe that the UnSub they are looking for might have a fascination with the Salem Witch Trials."

Also tonight, a three-legged dog from Utah is honored on the Hero Dog Awards (6 p.m., Hallmark Channel).

Utahn Tyson Apostol is still competing on Survivor: Blood vs. Water (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2).

And the NBA regular season gets under way as the Utah Jazz host the Oklahoma City Thunder (7 p.m., ROOT).
