Wednesday on TV: "Broadchurch" indicts the tabloid media

Broadchurch (8 and 11 p.m., Broadchurch) is about the murder of a young boy in a small town - among other things.

It's also a huge indictment of the media - a huge, well-deserved indictment of the tabloid press and the 24-hour TV news. In tonight's episode, Beth and Mark decide they need to spur the investigation on by having Beth do an interview, and things do not go the way they'd hoped.
