The "So You Think You Can Dance" tour will return to Utah in November — and it will be a homecoming for one of the dancers.

Provo native Jenna Johnson advanced to the top 10 of the Fox dancing competition earlier this week and won a spot in the 42-city tour. She and the other dancers will perform at the Maverik Center on Friday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m.

She's still in the competition and aiming to win the prize as America's favorite dancer, but for the moment Johnson couldn't be more thrilled.

"I'm so happy. I've never been happier," she said. "I've never worked this hard or hurt as much as I do now, but it's so worth it. It's just helping me grow in so many ways.

"I can't even imagine what my life would be like if I didn't do this show."

Another Utah native, Malece Miller, barely missed out on the tour. She was eliminated on Tuesday.

"It's been an awesome experience," she said. "I've made so many friends and I've learned so much.

"I wish I could do it forever, but I have to go home sometime."

The rest of the top 10 dancers are Aaron Turner, Amy Yakima, "Fik-Shun," Hayley Erbert, Jasmine Harper, Jenna Johnson, Makenzie Dustman, Nico Greetham, Paul Karmiryan, and Tucker Knox.

Tickets go on sale Saturday Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. They are available at ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 800-745-3000.
