This weekend on TV: Audra McDonald's voice will knock you out

Audra McDonald has won five Tony Awards. She has an incredible voice. She's the host of PBS' Live from Lincoln Center (8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7).

And this week, we get to hear McDonald's incredible voice as she takes a turn as the featured performer, singing songs from her new album and other favorites in a special spring concert at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

By the way, McDonald is married to Utah native/fellow Broadway performer Will Swenson.

Magic Mike (9 p.m., HBO): Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and Alex Pettyfer star in this 2012 movie about male strippers. (Rated R)

People Like Us (9:30 p.m., Showtime): Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks star in this 2012 drama. (PG-13)

Sunday on TV ...

Smash (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): In the series finale of this canceled show, there's confrontation at the Tony Awards.

Mermaids: The Body Found: The Extended Cut (6 and 10 p.m. Animal Planet) and Mermaids: The New Evidence (8 and 9 p.m., Animal Planet): The folks at Animal Planet should be ashamed of themselves for putting this phony garbage on the air.

Mad Men (8, 9:04 and 10:08 p.m., AMC): Roger is tormented by a recurring nightmare.

Behind the Candelabra (10 p.m., HBO): Michael Douglas stars as Liberace and Matt Damon as his much-younger lover in this Steven Soderbergh-directed TV movie.

Nurse Jackie (10 and 10:30 p.m., Showtime): Frank cancels a date with Jackie.

The Borgias (11 p.m., Showtime): Cesare burns Constanzo's palace in an attempt to contain the plague.
