Lone Peak hoopsters prove white men can jump on “The Today Show”

The Lone Peak boys basketball team got some great exposure on Thursday morning’s "Today Show," although it seemed to be more about race than hoops.
The Knights, the nation was told, are an "all-white team" that "defies racial expectation."
Gee ... so ... you’re saying that white men can jump?
It’s actually a pretty nice segment, despite the inane happy talk that followed the report.
"Something in the cookin’ in Lone Peak," said host Matt Lauer, clearly unaware that Lone Peak is a high school, not a town or city.
