On Friday's installment of "Rock Center with Brian Williams" (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5), Utah ski jumper Lindsey Van assures viewers that her uterus is perfectly safe.Van is featured in a report on why there's men's ski jumping in the Winter Olympics, but no women's ski jumping. And the big reason, it seems, is the concern for women's delicate bodies.Turns out that recently - 2006 - Gian Franco Kasper, president of the International Ski Federation, said, "It's like jumping down from, let's say, about two meters on the ground about a thousand times a year, which seems not to be appropriate for ladies from a medical point of view."Which did not make Van happy."It just makes me nauseous," Van tells NBC. "Like, I kind of want to vomit. Like, really?"Like, I'm sorry, but my baby-making organs are on the inside. Men have an organ on the outside. So if it's not safe for me jumping down, then my uterus is going to fall out."Here's the link:http://www.nbcnews.com/video/rock-center/50974349#50974349
