If you've seen any of the umpteen advertisements for "Golden Boy" (Tuesday, 9 p.m., Ch. 2) that CBS has been running and you've thought, "Where have I seen that guy before?" - chances are you're a "Downton Abbey" fan.The star of the new police drama, Theo James, played a small but pivotal role in the international hit. His character died in Lady Mary's bed and nearly ruined her life."I'm on screen for about 20 minutes, and I still get people going, 'Mr. Pamuk!'" James said.Yes, the man who's playing a tough NYPD detective and future police commissioner in "Golden Boy" played Kemal Pamuk in Season 1 of Downton Abbey." Pamuk spent the night with Lady Mary - which can be just terrible for the reputation of a young noble woman in the early 20th century.Particularly because Pamuk couldn't just sneak away back to his own room, what with dying and all.James said he didn't quite realize what a huge hit "Downton Abbey" was going to become, although, "When I did the show, I kind of felt like it was going to be a big deal. It felt like it was a quality production.."But he never expected "Downton Abbey" to be such a success."No, I didn't see it coming," James said.
