Thursday on Utah TV: Westminster hoops get their turn on TV

BYU basketball is on TV all the time. Utah most of the time. Utah State frequently. Weber State every once in a while.

But Westminster College basketball rarely makes TV appearances - at least not on anything other than public-access channels.

Tonight, however, both the men's and women's teams are on Altitude, which is Ch. 61 on Comcast; Ch. 681 on DirecTV and Ch. 410 on Dish.

First up, it's a women's college basketball game - Westminster at Carroll College (5:30 p.m. Altitude). The Westminster women, 24-2, are on a 16-game winning streak. The Griffins are 13-0 in the Frontier Conference and have already clinched their fifth-straight championship. Carroll (11-3) is in second place.

There is one other women's game tonight - Portland at BYU (7 p.m., BYUtv).

Then it's a men's college basketball game - also Westminster at Carroll College (8 p.m., Altitude). The Griffin men are 20-7 overall and 7-6 in the Frontier Conference play. Carroll College, which is in Helena, Mont., is 1-13.

There are two other men's basketball games tonight - BYU at St. Mary's (8 p.m., ESPN2) and Utah at Colorado (8 p.m., P12N).

The Big Bang Theory (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Raj decides he's never leaving his apartment again.

Zero Hour (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Hank and Beck have confront White Vincent

Community (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The group goes to the Inspector Spacetime Convention.

American Idol (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): The 10 remaining male singers perform.

The Vampire Diaries (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Shane's plan is revealed.

Project Runway (7 and 11 p.m., Lifetime): The teams design for Miranda Lambert.

Two and a Half Men (7:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Walden and his ex talk about getting back together.

Parks and Recreation (7:30 and 8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Leslie and Ben rush to finish a project.

Person of Interest (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The latest POI is a sexy government operative.

Grey's Anatomy (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): The doctors try to save the hospital by meeting with a possible investor.

Beauty and the Beast (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Vincent makes a difficult decision.

1600 Penn (8:30 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The family goes on a trip to their ranch.

Elementary (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): A philanthropist believes he was intentionally infected with an incurable illness.

Scandal (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): The president handles a delicate hostage negotiation.

Anger Management (10:30 p.m., FX): Charlie dates his daughter's teacher.

Archer (11 p.m., FX): A snake bites Archer in a special place.

Suits (11 p.m., USA): In the season finale, Harvey and Jessica have differing opinions on the firm's future.
