Wednesday on Utah TV: Crazy Brandon stirs things up on "Survivor"

We knew this would happen even before this season of Survivor (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) began - Brandon Hantz acts crazy in this week's episode.

He did, after all, act a whole lot of crazy the first time he was on the show. Crazy enough that viewers had serious reason to question his mental stability.

Maybe it was just an act. If so, it was a really bad one.

Or maybe Brandon is unhinged.

Utahn Dawn Meehan is in the same tribe as Brandon. Lucky her.

Law & Order: SVU (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The squad tries to protect Detective Rollins' sister from her abusive boyfriend .

Nova (8 p.m., PBS/Ch. 7): A report that looks inside the "Mind of a Rampage Killer." That's followed by The Path to Violence (9 p.m.., PBS/Ch. 7), which opens with a tragedy averted at Utah's Roy High School.

Supernatural (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): A witchcraft-practicing police officer's deadly dreams are becoming reality.

Southland (8 and 9 p.m., TNT): Mendoza is wounded in a drive-by shooting.

Suburgatory (8:30 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Tessa gives relationship advice to people who didn't ask for it.

CSI (9 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Sara becomes a murder suspect.

20/20 (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): Katie Couric looks back at the Oscars.

Chicago Fire (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): The firefighters assist the bomb squad.

The Americans (11 p.m., FX): When an assassin wounds President Reagan, Stan tries to find out if the KGB was involved.

Necessary Roughness (11 p.m., USA): In the season finale, Dani makes a big decision.
