Hurricane Sandy will be affecting some - but not all - New York-based late-night programming.

The Late Show with David Letterman (10:35 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (11:35 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) both planned to go ahead and tape a show as usual. (We are in the midst of the November sweeps, and reruns are not generally aired during sweeps.)

On the other hand, both of Comedy Central's shows - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (midnight) and The Colbert Report (12:30 a.m.) will air repeats. They may air repeats Tuesday as well, depending on the storm.

Jimmy Kimmel Live (12:05 a.m., ABC/Ch. 4), which normally shoots in Los Angeles, planned to spend this week in Brooklyn. Monday's taping was canceled, however, in the face of the storm.

Also tonight, the knockout rounds begin on The Voice (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5), and surely this time we'll actually get to see more than a few seconds of former Utahn Loren Allred.

Her first appearance was literally a few seconds long. We didn't get to hear her sing, we were just told she advanced to the battle rounds.

When the battle rounds arrived, hers was one of the battles that we saw in a brief recap. Again, she advanced, but other than describing her as a "wedding singer" we didn't get much other info.

As per NBC policy, we also don't know which episode will feature her knockout round battle. Sigh.
