Thursday TV in Utah: NBA draft doesn't look particularly exciting for Jazz fans

Some years there's all sorts of local anticipation for the NBA draft (5:30 p.m., ESPN). Jazz fans can't wait to find out who's joining the team.

This year - not so much.

Barring some sort of last-minute trade, the Jazz go into this draft holding the No. 47 pick. Which doesn't exactly lend itself to a lot of excitement.

Ah, well. NBA fans will be interested who teams with better picks take in the draft.

NBA draft (5:30 p.m., ESPN): Live from Newark, N.J.

Take Me Out (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13) and The Choice (8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): More of these weird dating shows.

Breaking Pointe (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Stress levels rise as opening night approaches; Katie and Beckanne go on a double date with the Tilton brothers.

Wipeout (8 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): It's nerdy guys vs. hot women.

Saving Hope (8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Alex treats an injured hockey player.

Men at Work (8 p.m., TBS): Gibbs and Tyler try to discount gym memberships.

Rookie Blue (9 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): A car accident turns out to be something more than just an accident.

Rock Center (10 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5):

Anger Management (10 and 10:30 p.m., FX): Charlie Sheen returns in this terrible new sitcom.

Burn Notice (10 p.m., USA):

Wilfred (11 p.m., FX): Wilfred refuses to help Ryan. (Season premiere)

Suits (11 p.m., USA): Mike is caught in the middle of Harvey and Daniel's battle.

Louie (11:30 p.m., FX): Louie has a tough day. (Season premiere)

Brand X with Russell Brand (midnight, FX): Debut of Brand's weekly late-night show.
