Utah TV on Wednesday: Even if you don't like hockey, you have to like this

The Stanley Cup Finals (6 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) could come to an end tonight. The Los Angeles Kings hold a 3-0 lead over the New Jersey Devils, and Game 4 is in L.A.

Not that that seems to matter. The Kings won Games 1 and 2 in New Jersey.

Even if you're not a hockey fan, you've got to love this story. The Kings look like the Real Salt Lake of the NHL. In 2009, RSL was the No. 8 seed and fought their way to the MLS Cup.

This year, Los Angeles was the No. 8 seed in their conference and are a game away from claiming the Stanley Cup.

Great story.

Elsewhere on TV ...

Dogs in the City (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Believe it or not, this show is a lot less dumb than it sounds. Watching the dog trainer deal with the animals and their owners is actually quite entertaining.

So You Think You Can Dance (7 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13): Auditions continue in Atlanta.

Melissa & Joey (9 and 9:30 p.m., ABC Family): Mel and Joe learn that Lennox spent the night with a classmate; Joe thinks Mel is having an affair.

Royal Pains (10 p.m., USA): In the season premiere, Hank and Divya have to treat competitive eaters.

Hot In Cleveland (11 p.m., TV Land): The ladies get caught up in drama at the hair salon.

Necessary Roughness (11 p.m., USA): In the season premiere, Dani and Matt try to keep their relationship secret.

Happily Divorced (11:30 p.m., TV Land): Fran meets a fascinating New Yorker.
