"The Transporter Malfunction" -- Penny buys Leonard and Sheldon (Jim Parsons, left) "Star Trek" collectibles as a thank-you, leading Sheldon to be haunted by Mr. Spock, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, March 29 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Thursday on TV: Look out, "Community" — "Big Bang Theory" is back!

NBC and fans of Community (7 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5) are feeling pretty good about themselves right now. Since the show returned from hiatus a couple of weeks ago, the ratings have been up.

Like the rest of NBC's Thursday lineup, it's nowhere near actual hit territory. But 4.9 million viewers is better than 3.6 million.

However ... The Big Bang Theory (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2) hasn't aired the past couple of weeks. It was pre-empted by the NCAA basketball tournament. It will be interesting to see how "Community" fares against a new episode of "Big Bang" this week.

And this week's "Big Bang Theory" episode features none other than Leonard Nimoy. Well, the voice of Leonard Nimoy. Because Sheldon is convinced he's hearing the voice of the original Mr. Spock.

Meanwhile, on "Community," Britta, Pierce and Shirley try to shut down a sandwich shop that just opened in the cafeteria.
