Tonight, we get a winner on the finale of Project Runway All Stars (7, 8:30, 10:01 and 11:01 p.m., Lifetime) - and let's hope they never do this again.

"Project Runway" without Tim Gunn isn't "Project Runway."

Gunn, buy the way, said that the reason he, Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors didn't participate in "All Stars" is that it was filmed concurrently with the most recent season of "Project Runway." And that they didn't feel they had the time to devote to both.

Instead, we got personality-challenged Angela Lindvall as the host; overmatched Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman as judges; and ice queen Joanna Coles as the mentor - the biggest joke of all.

When you actually miss Kors' presence, you know something is seriously wrong.

And last week's episode - allegedly the first half of the finale - was a total waste of time. Pretty much nothing happened.

All the blabber about this being the most talented group ever has been just plain stupid. These were all people who didn't win whatever season they were originally on, and with a couple of exceptions - Mondo Guerra, Rami Kashou - they didn't deserve to.

I'm rooting for Mondo to win. Not just because he deserves to win this season, but he was totally robbed in Season 8.

But let's not ever do an "All Stars" season again. Worst. Season. Ever.
