Well, this is weird. ABC tosses a previously unaired episode of Happy Endings (8:31 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4) onto the air in August.

The episode, titled "Why Can't You Read Me," was supposed to have been the fifth of 13 episodes that aired this past spring. Which would have put it on the schedule on April 27.

But for reasons that ABC has not made clear, it did not. Speculation is that it was the result of a storyline in which Dave (Zachary Knighton) makes a kinky sex tape with a woman he's dating, but there's no confirmation.

And if that's true, apparently August is a safer time for kinky sex tapes than April.

If this episode is like the rest of the "Happy Endings" episode, we can be sure that it won't be good.
