The comeback kids of Team USA continue their quest for the Women's World Cup (Sunday, noon, ESPN) as they take on Team Japan in the final.

On Wednesday, things weren't looking good for the Americans for most of the second half of their semifinal. They were tied with France, 1-1, and the French team was taking it to them.

But the Americans scored a couple of late goals to win their way into the final.

And, of course, Team USA - down a player for nearly half the game - scored an improbable goal in the 122nd minute of play to take their quarterfinal against Brazil to a shootout. And then won it there.

If the final is anywhere near as exciting as that, TV viewers will be in for a treat.
