Apparently, Karl and Kay Malone are NOT on 'The Amazing Race'

So ... looks like Karl Malone and his wife aren't going to be on the upcoming season of "The Amazing Race" after all.

Realityfanforum.com - the same website that originally speculated that the Malones were on the upcoming season - has now backed off its earlier assertion that Karl and Kay will be part of the season that begins this fall.

Apparently, those pictures of Amazing Racers that looked like the Malones were actually pictures of two other people.

"I can only offer up our apologies for any confusion, and hope that the real Malones have a sense of humor and have enjoyed their brief moment of 'TAR' fame!!" wrote the site's moderator.

And I can toss in some second-hand information from a reliable source who reports that Kay Malone adamantly denied she and Karl are on the show.

Too bad, actually. I was looking forward to rooting for the Malones this fall.
