LOS ANGELES - Jason Segel said he pretty much had to turn to humor when he was a kid.
"I was 6-4 since I was 12, and I was also the only Jewish kid at a Catholic school," said Segel, one of the stars of the CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother."
"Kids would stand around me in a circle, and they would chant 'Ride the oaf! Ride the oaf!' And then they would jump on my back, and I would have to shake them off."
Which is when he chose to be funny.
"I think you either become funny or a serial killer. I went with funny," Segal said.
