After a string of high-profile domestic assaults both nationally and locally, advocates during Domestic Violence Awareness Month want to change the Twitter discussion from #WhyIStayed to #WhyILeft.

On Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., Asha Parekh of the Family Justice Center, Kendra Wyckoff of the Utah Domestic Violence Coalition and Jenn Oxborrow of the Utah Department of Human Services join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the realities facing those in violent relationships and resources available to help.

Watch this online video chat at sltrib.com. You can also join the discussion by sending questions and comments to the hashtag #TribTalk on Twitter and Google+ or texting 801-609-8059.
