Despite criticism of the tear gas and body armor used to tamp down unrest in Ferguson, Mo., a recent poll shows a majority of Utahns support police acquiring military weapons.

On Thursday at 12:15 p.m., Department of Public Safety Commissioner Keith Squires, ACLU Utah's Marina Lowe and Tribune reporter Nate Carlisle join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about the federal program which allows local police to obtain military weapons and the debate over a more militarized law enforcement.
