Non-violent offenders are filling Utah's prison to the tune of 63 percent of new inmates, a trend that has lawmakers, attorneys, judges and corrections officials worried and wondering if sentencing guidelines really fit the crime.

On Tuesday at 12:15 p.m., Utah Department of Corrections director Rollin Cook and Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice director Ron Gordon join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about some of the disconnects between crime and punishment in Utah and ways to fix them.
