Come September, a former Utah elementary school teacher will lead the nation's largest teacher's union.

Lily Eskelsen García has been elected president of the National Education Association, vowing to push back on standardized tests and the privatization of public schools.

On Monday at 12:30 p.m., Eskelsen García joins Jennifer Napier-Pearce to talk about high-stakes testing, class sizes, immigration and other lessons she learned in Utah classrooms.
