Scarcity of liquor licenses already makes them hot commodities in this state. Come July, a new law allowing licenses to be traded on the open market will make the permits even more valuable.

On Wednesday at 12:15 p.m., State Sen. John Valentine, Piper Down Pub owner Dave Morris and Tribune food writer Kathy Stephenson join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to discuss the alcohol license transfer law and how it will play in the world of supply and demand.
