Salt Lake City's golf courses are financially ailing, so green fees should go up and two of the least-used courses — Rose Park and Jordan River Par-3 — should be shuttered.
That's according to a consultant's report submitted to Salt Lake City officials last week. Now the city council is asking for public input.
On Tuesday at 12:15 p.m., Salt Lake City parks director Rick Graham and city council members James Rogers and Kyle LaMalfa join Jennifer Napier-Pearce to discuss the assessment, what it would take to rehab the city's golf courses and if the capital city should stay in the golf business.
