Confirmed: Corey Taylor (Slipknot and Stone Sour) will perform with Dave Grohl's Sound City Players during Sundance week at Park City Live on Jan. 18.
I talked to Taylor today, and he is featured in the film because Slipknot recorded its album "Iowa" at the famed studio Sound City that Grohl has directed a documentary about.
Taylor is no stranger to Sundance — several years he performed on the same stage (when it was called Harry O's) with Camp Freddy, the rock supergroup.
