At Sundance to promote her movie "This Must Be the Place,"Eve Hewson was accommodating, open and patient with members of the media.

She didn't even flinch when one alleged journalist asked Bono's daughter, "Have you ever been to Dublin?"

Hewson did, however, deflect questions that compared the aging rocker portrayed by Sean Penn in "This Must be the Place" to her father.

Is this your first time at Sundance?

"I always wanted to go to Sundance. I came two years ago, just with friends, and we went to see some movies. And I thought, 'God, I really want to have a movie here!'"

What was it like working with Sean Penn?

"It was a little scary. I remember when I got the part, I watched all his movies. All of them, going back to 'Bad Boys.' So I was trying to do my homework. But when I met him, he was great. I think we had a good working relationship."

Did you give Sean Penn any advice on playing an aging rocker?

"No, I didn't give him any tips. I think he's got it down. He knows what to do."

Do you see similarities between Sean Penn's aging rocker character and your father?

"I wouldn't say my dad is anything like this character. Very, very different."

What's your take on "This Must Be the Place"?

"I'm really proud of it. It's quirky and a little crazy and it's funny and it's sad."

Your character skateboards. How was that?

"I fell. I've had a scar on my knee since then. It's kind of like training for the Olympics. But it was a lot of fun."

What was it like working with two Oscar winners?

"I looked at the call sheet and my name was smack in the middle of Frances McDormand and Sean Penn and it was, like, 'How is this happening? This is unreal.' It was very intimidating. I saved the call sheet."
