The United States Under-20 team will hold camp later this month, but Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil, a staple of the squad, will not be present.

The 19-year-old Gil was left off the list of 24 players announced Monday. Gil's spot on the team, however, is certainly secure. Gil seldom attends U-20 camps noncompetitive midseason camps. And U-20 coach Tab Ramos' most recent call ups are largely fringe players who could compete for the team's final few spots.

However, Los Angeles Galaxy forward Jose Villarreal, already a U-20 starter, will be a part of the camp, which runs through April 29 in Los Angeles. DeAndre Yedlin, a starter for the Seattle Sounders, will also be in his camp after receiving his first call up.
