After landing forward Robbie Findley, Real Salt Lake took another major step Wednesday toward shoring up its 2013 roster.
Midfielder Javier Morales announced on Twitter that he was returning to the club this season.
"I couldn’t be happier," the Argentine veteran tweeted. "Just sign my new contract with RSL. Thanks to the Club, Owner, coaches, teammates and [especially] to the fans!"
Morales, 32, scored three goals and notched seven assists in 31 regular season appearances last season for Real Salt Lake.
