Goalkeeper Nick Rimando has won Major League Soccer's first Save of the Week award, for his kick-save of Robbie Keane's half-volley in the 88th minute of RSL's 3-1 season-opening week over the Los Angeles Galaxy last week at the Home Depot Center.

Rimando won 46 percent of the online votes for the award, far ahead of D.C. United's Bill Hamid, who took almost 23 percent of the votes.
