Between David Beckham's future plans and the upcoming SuperDraft, life has not been quiet during Major League Soccer's off season.
Although 19-year old Jason Banton represented England at the U-17 level, the ex-Arsenal, Blackburn and Liverpool youth Tweeted on Monday that he's been invited to participate in the MLS Combine in January.
Chivas USA had an opportunity to sign the 18-year-old forward in April, but decided to take a pass. In September, Banton joined League Two side Burton Albion on a one-month loan.
Also, according to MLSSoccer.com, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger might be seeking a possible loan for Red Bulls' Thierry Henry: "Short term is ideal for us," Wenger said, "but I haven't made any enquiry yet."
