CLUB WORLD CUP
Real Salt Lake would have played J. League champions Kashiwa Reysol this Sunday had it defeated Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions League final back in April.
Mexico’s Monterrey beat RSL 3-2 on aggregate in the final of the CCL. Sunday's game in Toyota, Japan, is Monterrey's opening quarterfinal match of the 2011 Club World Cup.
The winner advances to a semifinal matchup with Copa Libertadores champions Santos, of Brazil.
