Travis Clark of MLSsoccer.com took at look at former Real Salt Lake defender Robbie Russell's return to family life. Circumstances forced Russell and his wife, a lawyer in the Washington D.C. area, to live apart.

Now that Russell is with D.C. United, all is well:

“Even now that it has happened, I know my wife still looks over on the couch and is kind of like, ‘You’re here, that’s weird,’" Russell said. "I think once I’m here for a couple weeks, it’ll settle in that I finally made the move, it finally happened. There’s a lot of excitement around it and I’m happy to be around my family again.”
