Real Salt Lake's Grabavoy receives support

There's support and then there's the heavy-handed kind, a really jock culture support through jesting insult.

Take Monday, one that saw Real Salt Lake release its unprotected list for Wednesday's expansion draft. Montreal has 10 picks from the 18 available MLS clubs.

Among the names RSL offered for the draft was Ned Grabavoy.

Offering his support for a teammate and friend via Tweet was RSL keeper Nick Rimando:

"Have to get this off my chest... Grabavoy is a terrible teammate, only thinks of himself and probably wouldn't even

make my high school team."

This led to some more exchanges, including:

"@NickRimando it would be really dumb for an expansion team to pick a player like him. He is always hurt and plays for himself. #winkwink #jk."
