At a time when any good news is welcome, Sunday marked the return of Real Salt Lake midfielder Nelson Gonzalez, who was a second-half substitute during MLS Reserve League action against Chicago at XanGo Field in Lehi.The Fire defeated Real 1-0, but Gonzalez saw his first action since fracturing his right foot in late July. Nelson entered the game in the 56th minute for Luis Gil.Two former RSL-Arizona Academy prospects played extended minutes. Julio Alarcon put 90 minutes in, while Jordan Allen was a sub and played 17 minutes. Nico Muniz, an 18-year-old midfielder, played 73 minutes.
