Real Salt Lake, with its 3-1 win against New York on Wednesday, is tied for the longest winning streak in franchise history. RSL also won five straight in May of 2010.During the second half of last season, RSL went unbeaten in 13 consecutive games, going 7-0-6.Wednesday's victory also moved RSL into a tie for second place the with Seattle Sounders FC in the Western Conference with 51 points — with a game in hand.RSL is the first Major League Soccer team to win five straight this season. The L.A. Galaxy, seven points in front of RSL, are the only other team to win at least four in a row. Also, Real has taken three straight road games for only the second time in club history with D.C. United on tap for Saturday.
